Protector Plus Pro

Viruses are the biggest threat on the Internet. Today, it would be foolish to browse the web without adequate protection for your system. Efficient antivirus programs are usually expensive and installing them will take long. Protector Plus Pro offers the same degree of protection against viruses, but it is easier to use than other similar software. It will take a few minutes to have it up and running. Once installed, it will immediately activate its real time scanning features and firewall.

Most antivirus programs take long to install and configure, but Protector Plus Pro can be launched after a speedy setup process. After downloading and running the 4.36 Mb setup file, you can run the program right away. All configurations will be made automatically.

You can start a full, quick or custom scan in the interface's Scan section. If you are in a hurry, you can perform a quick scan, but if you have time to spare, you should opt for the full scan. It will take longer to complete, but it will search for malicious files in every folder on your hard drive. If you suspect that certain files may be infected, you can start a custom scan. With this scanning method, the software will let you decide what folders to scan. It is also possible to schedule a scan. The option can be found in the Scan section as well and you can set Protector Plus to scan your files once, at a certain date and hour or set it to scan every day, week or month.

In the interface's Settings section, you can set how the program should behave if it finds infected files. It can prompt you for an action or it can automatically repair, delete, quarantine or perform other actions. You may select two of these actions from drop menus, in case the first one fails. Similar options can be found for an email scanner, under a different navigation tab. If the program detects infected or suspicious email, it can perform the same type of actions automatically.

Protector Plus Pro will perform real time scans while working in the background and you can add certain files to an exceptions list. The application also comes with its own firewall which will prevent unauthorized access from external networks. Its sensitivity can be set to high, medium, low or custom in the settings panel. If you choose a custom sensitivity, you will be able to add IP addresses in a list and mark them as friend or foe.
